About Randy
Randy comes from a long line of “Arizonans." As a 5th generation Arizona native, he completed his high school education at Shadow Mountain High School, attended Phoenix College on a two-year golf scholarship, and then attended Arizona State University. Randy began his golf career in outside service and then as an assistant professional at the former Scottsdale Country Club, followed by an assistant professional position at Acacia Country Club in Lyndhurst, Ohio. Upon returning from Ohio, Randy accepted a position at The Orange Tree Golf Resort, where he spent 27+ years working as an assistant professional, then Head Golf Professional, and finally Director of Golf Operations. Randy has been a Class A Member of the PGA of America - Southwest Section since 1990. He joined Gainey Ranch Golf Club as PGA Director of Player Development in the fall of 2012 and has been an instrumental part of the team ever since. Besides his many work accomplishments, Randy has had an extensive and successful playing career within the PGA Southwest Section with numerous individual, professional team, and pro-am victories in both junior, and now senior tournaments . As a senior player in the Southwest Section PGA, he earned Player of the Year honors in 2017 and again in 2019. Randy's wife, Jeanne, is a longtime flight attendant with Delta Airlines, and they share a daughter Taylor.

About Dean
Dean joined Gainey Ranch Golf Club as Head Golf Professional in April of 2024. Dean attended Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and studied Business Management with a specialization in Golf Management. He did multiple golf internships in college, including 2 internships at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. After earning his Class A PGA membership in 2020, he moved to Arizona and worked at Desert Mountain Golf Club and TPC Scottsdale as their Lead Assistant Golf Professional. His favorite golf memory was passing the Playing Ability Test (PAT) in high school on the number with his dad as his caddie

Rob Hammer, PGA

About Rob
Rob has been a PGA Professional since 2010. He Graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Professional Golf Management. He spent several years pursuing a playing career, has won multiple times as a professional and advanced through stage 1 of Qualifying School. Rob has learned from the nation’s top instructors including Jim Mclean, Randy Smith, Mike Malaska and Ben Weir. Rob grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah but fell in love with Arizona in college. After being an instructor in Utah for several years, he is excited to be back in Arizona. Rob was runner up for Teacher of the Year 2019 in the Utah PGA Section. When he is not golfing, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids named Elsie, Jackson and Greyson.
